Tanja Murphy-Ilibasic: English for Pre-Schoolers: Position Yourself for the Market
Early language acquisition has never been in more demand and is a potentially lucrative field for trainers with a structured, goal-oriented approach. This workshop aims to provide thought-provoking tips and insights into how to structure your classes, what content suits you best and the challenges of working with this age group. A range of activities will be introduced and provided for your own use. Be warned: there will be singing, dancing and other such wild things, so please remember to bring a good mood and a sense of humour along with you – both immensely helpful things when working with pre-schoolers!
To maximise the benefit of the workshop, there will be 3 voluntary pre-workshop assignments to complete beforehand.
Tanja Murphy-Ilibasic has been a freelance ESP and ESL trainer, translator and interpreter for more than 25 years, working extensively with multinationals, smaller businesses and private individuals. As co-owner of a personnel development company, www.ps-development.net, she is also closely involved in corporate coaching and enjoys exploring how it can be exploited within language training to the benefit of both learner and trainer. Teaching English to pre-schoolers and preparing students for Cambridge exams have been ‘hobbies’ of hers for many years.
