Practical Ideas for Teaching Business English with Marjorie Rosenberg

Are you looking for some new and practical ideas to teach business English which encourages learner-generated content? This interactive workshop will consist of a number of activities which can be done in the classroom or online and cover the areas listed below. Participants will have the chance to try out activities as well as discuss how they might use them in their teaching situations. In addition, they will receive tips for follow-up suggestions which encourage the learners to make use of the vocabulary or business skills they have learned in class when they return to their workplaces.

These activities primarily come from the new book “50 Ways to Teach Business English” published by Wayzgoose Press.

Bio:

Marjorie Rosenberg has been in ELT since 1981 working at tertiary institutions, with teachers and corporate clients in Graz, Austria. She has published widely in the field of business English and is a co-author of “Business Partner” and “Step Up” (Pearson). Her latest book is “50 Ways to Teach Business English” (Wayzgoose Press). Marjorie is a former Coordinator of IATEFL’s BESIG and a Past President of IATEFL.
