Event Description

Our conference will offer 12 workshops featuring a wide variety of topics! Several of the major ELTpublishers will present their materials at stands in the exhibition area. We are also pleased to announce Patricia de Griese as our plenary speaker and workshops with well-known names such as Roy Bicknell, Evan Frendo, Andreas Grundtvig, Patrick Mustu etc. A great opportunity for professional development in a welcoming environment, lots of opportunity to network, a nice hot lunch and plenty of coffee!

Please choose the appropriate ticket (member, non-member, or speaker) PLUS one workshop per timeslot (A, B and C). It is very important that you choose one workshop per timeslot to make sure your space is reserved!!

Fee: ELTAF and other ELTA members* €50 / non-members €70 / conference speakers €0

The fee includes a hot buffet lunch, coffee breaks and a raffle which will take place at the close of the conference day.

We would like to give a special thanks to our raffle donors: English Theatre, MediaRange GmbH

Fees, minus a cancellation charge of €10, can be refunded if cancellation is made before 15 June. Due to the expenses incurred by running such a conference, we regret that fees cannot be refunded after this date.

**You will not be able to register for workshops once they are full.)

After registration, you will receive a confirmation of your workshops as well as payment details. (Due to last minute cancellations of speakers, there may be minor changes on the actual day of the conference. We are sure you understand that this is unavoidable. You can check the ELTAF website for updates.)

The venue is very easy to reach. It is located north of Frankfurt very near the A661 motorway and only a couple of minutes walk from the U3 tram from Frankfurt (Waldlust stop). There is plenty of parking and some lovely woods in case you need a break!

We recommend the Parkhotel am Taunus which is situated near the woods right next to the location:

The ELTAF conference is designed to offer something for everyone, regardless of whether you are new to the field or have decades of experience, a native speaker or non-native teacher of English, a freelancer or an employee of a private company or institution, teaching young learners or retired people, trainees or executives, an ELTAF member or non-member. We particularly welcome members of other ELTAs in Germany and look forward to spending an interesting, thought-provoking and above all enjoyable day together.

Best regards on behalf of the hard-working Conference Crew
